We also provide specific research and consultancy, drawing on the expertise of specialist working groups in varying aspects of aeronautical engineering, nanotechnology and composite materials for use in aircraft, turbo-machinery, heat transfer, anti/de-icing, vibro-acoustics/noise control, wind tunnels, drop tower technologies, aircraft maintenance, visual surveillance, remote sensing and computational modelling.
Additional services to industry include: specialist assessment, preparation of technical guidance and guidelines; and the delivery of tailored CPD and industry training.

What we are looking for:
We would like to meet companies and other research bodies to discuss our work. This could be through consultancy or specific research collaborations, FP7 projects etc. We are also keen to explore knowledge transfer, through KTPs for example.
