Kingston University is a university in Kingston upon Thames in southwest London. Formerly a polytechnic, it was granted university status in 1992 under the Further and Higher Education Act 1992. Engineering at Kingston University has built upon its reputation over the years in the areas of aerospace, mechanical, automotive, civil and construction which has contributed to significant growth in demand for its courses. The majority of programmes are professionally accredited and highly relevant to industry, with recognition both in the UK and overseas. Research activities continue to expand (Engineering Research centres), making a positive contribution to teaching at all levels and with industrial applications. This is supported by well-equipped engineering and computing laboratories.

What we offer:
A wide experience in design, development and optimization of engineering systems (internal combustion engines, solid rocket motors, aero-engines, gas turbines, compressors, heat exchangers) and technological processes (coating technology, combustion, explosion, detonation). Design and development of numerical algorithms and software including HPC and GPU. Application of computational fluid dynamics (CFD) to design and development of engineering systems.
