Aerospace Maritime and Defence Foundation of Australia Ltd

Aerospace Maritime and Defence Foundation of Australia Limited is a not-for-profit corporation limited by guarantee and established to promote the development of aviation and Australian industrial, manufacturing and information/communications technology resources in the fields of aviation, aerospace, maritime and defence.

It achiueves this by organising expositions, conferences and events. The best-known of these is the Australian International Air Show and Aerospace and Defence Expo which takes place every two years at Avalon International Airport, near Melbourne.

These activities provide forums for the exchange of ideas and information, foster education and research, facilitate national and international contacts and networks, stimulate Australian enterprise and innovation, expand markets and business opportunities for Australian industry and showcase Australian achievements and capabilities.
