Located on Blagnac airport Potez Engineering is a young company but has already established significant credibility and proven expertise that has enabled it to win several campaigns. Potez Engineering teams were able to showcase their expertise through product definition work seeking expertise in the areas of structure, mechanisms and systems.


POTEZ AERONAUTIQUE

With adequate facilities in South-West France Potez Aéronautique is among suppliers associated with world’s leading aerospace manufacturers. Tier 1 supplier and reference on «Exit» product, Potez Aéronautique has expertise in several activities.

+ Industrialization
design and manufacturing of the detail parts tooling and its assembly lines.

+ Detail parts manufacturing
manufacturing capacity for large individual parts to achieve coatings stretching (4x4 m) and sections drawing.

+ Assembly
The Potez production facility has the capacity to assemble large aircraft structures (7 to 12 m) which are composed of complex elements of titanium and aluminum sheet metal and this, as well as machined and composite parts, is the core business of Potez Aéronautique. The company mainly produces fuselage sections, fitted skin panels, doors and tail units.

+ Design and Build contract
Reference on «Exit» product, Potez group has demonstrated that the proximity of Potez Engineering and Potez Aéronautique expertise is a major asset for the project management of aerospace programs. Thanks to this complementarity, Potez intends to bid on new programs on a Design and build contract basis.

+ Spare parts and repairs
The «Spare parts and repairs» service Approved by European and American authorities, provides maintenance parts as well as- prototype or in small series parts for aircraft that are either in or out of production. this service is constitued to support the product all along the life cycle

Specific and efficient production tools
As a result of sustained investment, Potez Aéronautique disposes of high-performance production equipment: automated riveting centers, router and numerical command folding press, large format profiles and skins stretching forming presses, 5 axis machining center, heat treatment capacity. As part of its development policy, Potez Aéronautique recently increased its industrial areas to 25 000 m².

A deep R&D effort is launched to optimize the organization and production processes, promote the introduction of processes meeting environmental requirements.
